Artist Statement

I am someone who stands most firm in my trust and belief in the basic human instincts. Through plastic media, I volunteer my own instinctive and impulsive tendencies stemming from various human emotions that cannot be explained through verbal means. I present myself as a human being who works through the medium of an artist to express the irrational through the irrational.

Through my works, I attempt to challenge and reformulate the rational being that predominates hierarchy of the rational in the human consciousness. Exposing the blurry boundaries between the conscious and subconscious, I hope to continue to stand as a medium between our instincts and our social selves.
