This body of work continues her exploration of female identity through her portrait or personified animals, in which she is able to hold both figurative and abstract elements in tension. It also represents a witty confrontation between the artist and her adopted figures. Her compositions range from fantasy abstraction to narrative surreal scenes offering views into layered worlds where Eastern and Western art that are combined in a contemporary.
